Wells Offshore is familiar with Statutory requirements and Industry recommendations relating to the provision of medical supplies for offshore installations. We supply goods to many Oil and Gas Production Platforms, Drilling Rigs and FPSOs both on the UK Continental Shelf and overseas.
Our trained pharmacists are always willing to work with oil companies to ensure a cost effective and efficient service for remote sites. We liaise carefully with our customers and their medical advisors to ensure that only authorized appropriate medicines are supplied.
We are enthusiastic supporters of the operation of Quality Management Systems and are certified to ISO 9001-2000 . We are also registered with First Point Assessment, Repro, JQS, FPK, as a supplier of medical stores to the oil industry.
Commercial Maritime & Passenger Vessels
Wells Offshore has supplied medical stores to Merchant Ships (Freight and Passenger) for many years and our pharmacists and support staff are fully familiar with Merchant Shipping Regulations and have a history of assisting companies with systems to aid compliance.
We also undertake inspections and certification of ships' medical stores to UK and overseas requirements.
All medicines supplied by Wells Offshore are presented in UK manufacturers’ original packs as required by Medicines Act legislation and as recommended in UK Merchant Shipping requirements (MSN 1768).
